SEAN SALLOUX Chief Executive Officer
Sean has over 20 years of hands-on, international entrepreneurial and technology experience from start-ups to publicly traded companies. He became CEO of World Energy Labs in 2002, after completing a position as Director of Partnerships at Gemplus (Nasdaq: GEMP) in their North/South American Headquarters in San Francisco. Previously, he has worked in the Venture Capital arm of Gemplus in London with positions in the U.S. and Korea. Gemplus is the #1 Smart Card manufacturer in the world, and #1 supplier of SIM cards to mobile telecommunication operators worldwide.
As well as studying Aeronautical Engineering at Rensselaer Polytechnic, he graduated from Boston University with a Finance Degree and in 1999 he received an MBA from the London Business School, Prior to taking an MBA, Sean founded a consulting group focused on early Stage companies and start-ups and worked with companies in Australia, the U.K., Japan and the U.S. He has also consulted to the WWB, an offshoot of the World Bank, on micro-finance/start-ups/incubators in India and the Dominican Republic. His first start-up, Boston International, began in 1990. He grew the company to over 100 employees in three states, and sold it in 1994. Sean has lived and worked in over 10 countries.

Dr. KURT SALLOUX Chief Technical Officer
Dr. Salloux has over 10 years experience in the electrochemistry of aqueous and nonaqueous systems with a strong background in surface characterization of both organic and inorganic materials. In 2002, he left Genefluidics, where he was one of three founders. Genefluidics is a biotechnology start-up doing point-of-care, Lab-On-A-Chip, rapid diagnostics using electrochemical based DNA detection. Genefluidics has completed their Series A funding. Previously, he worked at Hughes Space and Communication/Boeing Satellite Systems and helped manage a R&D budget for the lithium-ion battery program for support and development of batteries for Geosynchronous and Low Earth Orbit satellites. His work in the fields of materials science, chemistry and manufacturing engineering has brought a multifunctional understanding of these areas to the world of electrochemistry. Dr. Salloux received his doctorate in Materials Science from The University of California, Los Angeles. He has worked on a number of battery chemistries including Lithium-Ion, Ni-Metal-Hydride, Lead Acid and Nickel-Hydrogen. Dr. Salloux holds a B.S. in Manufacturing Engineering from Boston University.

FARHAD MOSHIR Chief Financial Officer
Farhad joined World Energy Labs in early 2007 as the company's CFO with more than 20 years of professional experience. He has previously served as the CFO of Fortemedia, Inc., a fabless semiconductor manufacturer based in Silicon Valley and with worldwide operations and heavy presence in Asia. Prior to joining Fortemedia, Farhad was the CFO of iValueHub Inc., an Internet based services and software solutions company. He has held various senior financial management posts at several other public and private technology companies, with responsibilities covering the full spectrum of finance, operations, and administration management duties. Prior to entering the technology corporate arena, Farhad worked on Wall Street as a bond trader for Merrill Lynch, Visa, and KPMG, where he received his CPA license. Farhad holds a BS degree in civil engineering from UC Berkeley, and an MBA in finance and accounting from University of San Francisco.

PHILLIP L. WESCOTT Vice President Sales & Marketing
Phil has over 25 years of sales and marketing experience in the test and measurement industry, most recently as Vice President Sales at Fluke Biomedical Systems. Prior to joining World Energy Labs, he was a principal and founder of the international consulting firm Global Market Development Ltd. His consulting experience focused on guiding emerging companies in the development of markets internationally. Phil has held previous executive management positions in both sales and international operations at Fluke Corp., a worldwide leader in the T&M business, Videojet Technologies, the global leader in packaged goods marking systems, and Wesmar, a leader in marine stabilization technology. His undergraduate work in political science was at the University of Southern California, followed by graduate studies at Pepperdine University (MBA) and Stanford.

JOHN MILLARD Global Product Director
Mr. Millard has held various senior positions in the energy sector including 3 years as CEO of a European energy consultancy based in Switzerland. He has previously held positions with British Petroleum, and ABB. Between 1995 and 1997, Mr. Millard was responsible for technology development and strategic planning within one of ABB's global energy business areas and is a named inventor on several European patents in this area. He has a First Class Honors Chemical Engineering degree from the University of Bradford, UK, and an M.B.A. with Distinction from London Business School. Mr. Millard is a major investor in World Energy Labs and is a member of the board of directors.

Dr. JOHN McHARDY Senior Scientist
Dr. McHardy is a senior scientist in Electrochemistry, lecturer, and consultant. Top R&D firms have called upon his expertise and he has supervised teams in a number of very successful, R&D/Commercialization projects. He has worked with companies such as Hughes, Boeing, Raytheon, Kodak, United Technologies and ALCOA Laboratories, among others. He has led research and development programs on fuel cells, batteries, supercapacitors, catalysts, sensors and supercritical fluids. Dr. McHardy's work has led to 9 patents, several awards, 2 books, including "Electrochemistry of Semiconductors and Electronics" (1992), and numerous publications. Dr. McHardy received his Ph.D. from the University of Pennsylvania and his B.S. from the University of Cambridge, England.
